Join Great North Run poet-in-residence Kate Fox for a pre-race evening of poetry slamming and a delicious pasta buffet. Runners and non-runners alike are invited to bring along race-themed poetry for the prospect of winning fantastic prizes, courtesy of Metrocentre. The winner and runners-up will get the following vouchers, to spend at any shop in the Metrocentre, Gateshead: first prize: £75, second prize: £50, and third prize: £25.
