The Slam Winners Slam

Poetry Slamming in the North East has a new venue. The Tyneside Cinema is going to host five slams in 2010. The slams will take place in the Tyneside bar. Over the next twelve months we will be hosting a Lyrical Slam, Dead Poets Slam and a Bare Knuckle Slam as well as the death defying Slam Winners Slam. Plus special guests bringing the best of the UK’s and International slam poets to Newcastle.

Monday 15th March 2010 we have our first slam. The Slam winners Slam. We want the best of the North East Slam poets to step up. Have you won a slam in the last three years? Do you want the BIG MONEY PRIZE and most importantly to put your hands on the prestigious Slam Winners Trophy?
