Tom Kelly Literary Lunch with John Grundy

Wednesday 11th May 12.30pm Literary Lunch: Poet and Playwright Tom Kelly reads from and discusses his work with John Grundy.
Tom’s theatre work, produced by the Customs House, includes his most recent critically acclaimed play, Nothing like the Wooden Horse and Tom and Catherine, a musical on the lives of Tom and Catherine Cookson.
He has also written two community plays, Tyne Songs (with Carol Cooke) for South Tyneside MBC and The Black Hill for Blaydon Festival.
Recent productions include the musical The Machine Gunners, and Talking Tom, a collection of his monologues. Tom appeared in the production reading some of his highly praised poetry.
£10 includes buffet lunch and wine (payable in advance).
