Pat Dunn (Elsie) and me had a great night at the Customs House last night as part of their cabaret season. I read some poems and extracts from my plays. Pat was Elsie, a character I created ten years ago. She has featured at the Customs House over the years. Pat will be seen as the grandmother in October in the new sit-com based on Hebburn. It is written by Hebburn-born comedian, Jason Cook. I hope it does well for everyone involved.
