On Thursday 25th November we will be holding the last ever Ten by Ten night. It was a hard decision to end the evening but when we started Ten by Ten it was because there was nowhere for new writers to perform their work and nowhere for established writers to showcase new material. Now in Newcastle we have an abundance of fabulous spoken word events from Pink Lane to Jibba Jabba and Northern Lines and new nights like Flat Cap Cafe and Made in Newcastle. It is time to try new things.

For our last night we have a very special line up.

Zebra’s Jeff Price and Annie Moir will be stepping out from running the night to performing their poetry.

Also on the bill we have singer songwriter and poet Simma and writer and poet Alfie Crow.

The slam king himself Scott Tyrrell and the master ranter Steve Urwin will be gracing our stage.

Chantress and poet Kyla Clay Fox will be doing her thing alongside the multi-talented Amanda Baker.

Words from behind the wall with Sky Hawkins and songs and music from Paul Kingswell.

A night not to be missed, we start at 8.00 don’t be late.
