Zebra Publishing asked the poets who attend our Ten by Ten night at the Cumberland Arms in Byker if they would write a poem on the theme of Ten and over 70 writers have contributed to this unique anthology. The scale and variety of the poetry is fantastic from a tender love poem from Kate Fox to the erotic musing of Peter Mortimer. We have poetry from Tom Kelly on the murderous intentions of Mary Ann Cotton and publisher’s advice from Sheila Wakefield. We had contributions from overseas writers like Ruth Sabath Rosenthal a Pushcart nominee and Botswana poet Tjawangwa Dema.
