The Kalevala is the lesser known Northern Myth Cycle of The Finns, as full of creation tales, trickster incidents, enchantments, transformations, bawdy humour and heroic adventures as the Viking Sagas.

These poems take the first ten runes of the Finnish National Epic ‘Kalevala’ as their starting point, and collectively tell key parts of the story and explore the myth within contemporary and often personal contexts with eclectic musical backing and multiple voice effects.
