Invitation to 3 events
Red Squirrel Press is facilitating 3 fundraising events in support of the Lit and Phil’s Appeal. The third and final event is a joint venture with Red Squirrel Press poets and Salt. RSP poets Kevin Cadwallender, Eleanor Livingstone (short-listed for the new London Poetry Award), Tom Kelly and Alistair Robinson are joined by Salt poets Rob Mackenzie and Andrew Philip (short-listed for the inaugural Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry award).
£5 non-members, £3 members – Free Refreshments.

Launch off Lesley Mountain’s pamphlet ‘Dance of the Disappointed’. Lesley’s poem, ‘The Timewasters’ won the inaugural James Kirkup Memorial Poetry Competition, this pamphlet is her prize. Carlotta Johnson is also reading, £2

‘At Grand Central Station We Sat Down and Wept’ is the stunning new anthology devised and edited by Kevin Cadwallender. Using Elizabeth Smart’s ‘On Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept’ as inspiration, Kevin selected lines, put a note on Facebook inviting poets write from the lines and received an overwhelming response. This anthology features 57 poets from throughout the UK and includes a poem by Sebastian Barker (Elizabeth Smart’s son) who gave this book his blessing. Poets reading include Kevin Cadwallender, Adam Fish, Linda France, Tom Kelly, Kath Kenny, Valerie Laws, Alistair Robinson and many more tbc.
