Poetry Slams are back at the Tyneside Cinema and we have a crackiing line up of top class poets including Poetry Jack, Ann Porro, Aaron Wright, Shaft, Radikal Queen, Aidan Clarke, Nigel Mellor, Aidan Cant, John Lazarus, Richard Want and Leila Jordan.

In case you have never been to a Slam before it’s high energy poetry that crosses performance poetry with X Factor. It’s great fun and a not to be missed night were the audience get to choose who will carry home the trophy and the BIG MONEY PRIZE.

We have a special guest performer Tanya Davis is a Canadian poet who is touring the UK and we are tickled pink she is stopping off in Newcastle.
