Red Squirrel is proud to anounce the opening of the first Annual James Kirkup Memorial Poetry Competition, in memory of the eminent poet James Kirkup who died earlier this year. It is open to anyone over 17 years of age; entry is free. The first prize is publication of pamphlet of your poetry, and 24 other finalists will also be published in a pamphlet anthology. Entries must be submitted before the end of December 2009.
