Dreamers In A Cold Climate
New Poetry Collection
Tom Kelly
I’ve just discovered that part of ‘Geordie’, my long poem taken from DREAMERS IN A COLD CLIMATE, has just been published on the Penniless Press site. Follow the link to have a look at the site, which is always worth more than a look.

I also have to also say that ‘Geordie’, well other bits of him, also appear in interpoetry www.interpoetry.com/
and in The Recusant
http://www.therecusant.org.uk/#/contributors/4525046762
And you’ll find, if you care to look, ‘Without Jack’ in the most recent issue (SPRING 2008, NUMBER 42)of OBSESSED WITH PIPEWORK
http://www.flarestack.co.uk/obsessedwithpipework.htm
It lives up to its tag line, ‘Poetry with strangeness and charm.’
You would be hard pressed not like OWP.
And I liked, on first and second glance, Tom Jenks and Sean Lause who has a lovely poem, ‘With permission of Mr Westinghouse Electric…’ I find I could list all of the poems in this edition. It’s £3.50 an issue. You know it’s the right thing to do. Buy a copy.
I’ve got a poem, ‘Without Jack’ inspired by the A1, i.e. being stuck on it for what seemed forever. The poem also features in DREAMERS IN A COLD CLIMATE. I could say that’s another reason for buying DREAMERS IN A COLD CLIMATE but I won’t.
Without Jack
Accidental rain
plays down my windscreen
in a perpetual traffic jam
on the road to open-road nirvana.
Driving through memories,
exciting radio stations
into a great blur of noise.
This is how it ends
on the road without Kerouac.
I have had really positive feedback on the collection from lots of very nice people but a kind of modesty prevents me from naming names. But there’s time.
If you would like to buy a copy of DREAMERS IN A COLD CLIMATE you can go direct to Red Squirrel Press

That’s enough of me talking about me, what do you think about me?
