Spawned by the super hero of spoken word that was Ten by Ten, Take Ten is ready to don the cape and boldly go onwards and upwards. Is it a plane? Is it a bird? No, it’s spoken word!

The format has been tried and tested to the limits of endurance – ten artists, ten minutes each, all adding up to a superlative evening. But a new twist is being added – a theme. For January the theme is ‘new start’, in February it will be ‘romance’ (no surprise there then), and in March we will celebrate female artists. Take Ten needs you!
